Assistant Professor in Statistics

Current position

Assistant Professor in Statistics at Montpellier SupAgro. Research done at the UMR Mathématique, informatique et statistique pour l'environnement et l'agronomie (MISTEA).

Education

January 2009-November 2011   PhD student in statistics under the supervision of Denys Pommeret, Aix-Marseille University (team Statistique et applications of the Institut de Mathématiques de Luminy), and supported by Ipsogen. This thesis entitled «Sélection bayésienne de variables et méthodes de type Parallel Tempering avec et sans vraisemblance» has been defended the 10th of November 2011.
The examining committee consisted of : C. Abraham, A. Bar-Hen (President), S. Carpentier, M. Chadeau-Hyam, N. Chopin (reading committee), A. Leclercq-Samson, J.M. Marin (reading committee), D. Pommeret (supervisor).

  • ENSAI: Diplôme d'ingénieur, a Master's-level engineering degree equivalent to a Master of Science (MSc) in Statistics. ENSAI is part of the Grouping of National Economics and Statistics Schools (GENES), and part of the network of prestigious higher education establishments in France known as the Grandes écoles, or specialized graduate schools.

    From January 2012   Assistant Professor in Statistics at Montpellier SupAgro. Research done at the ;UMR Mathématique, informatique et statistique pour l'environnement et l'agronomie (MISTEA).
    September to December 2011   Assistant professor at the University of Provence. Research done at the Mediterranean Institute of Ecology and Paleoecologie (IMEP).
    January 2009-August 2011   PhD student, part-time in the university of the Méditerranée and part-time in Ipsogen.
    November 2006 to novembre 2008   Engineer in Statistics for the IMTSSA (Tropical Medicine Institute of the french Army).
